Uluwatu Temple is one of Sad Khayangan Jagat or Six Main Temples in Bali Island, which located in Pecatu Village, South Kuta Disrict, Badung Regency exactly on a high cliffs that jut into the sea in southwest of Island.


The temple is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his manifestation as Dewa Rudra, one of Dewata Nawa Sanga (Nine Guardian Dewata) who has a position in the southwest.
